     H&S Performance is proud to announce the "OVERDRIVE" software. A finely tuned engine is worthless if that power cannot be transferred to the ground. In order to meet the high horsepower and torque output of the 6.7 Cummins engine, we have modified the transmission tuning software to better "put the power to the ground". The H&S Overdrive software is specifically tailored to H&S engine tuning software, and will ensure that you get the best performance and reliability out of your transmission.

     One of the biggest complaints about the stock 68RFE transmission is the early shifting.  5th and 6th gears will come in early and cause a "dead pedal" or even a transmission "shudder".  This condition worsens with performance engine tuning, and can cause unnecessary damage to your transmission.  H&S modifies those 5th and 6th  gear shift points to greatly reduce these annoying problems.

Black Maxx, Mini Maxx, and XRT Pro owners will have the ability to use their existing units to load the H&S Overdrive Transmission software. Using the H&S downloads section, you will simply update your tuner (Black Maxx or Mini Maxx) to the latest software level (Latest Software Found Here). Once the tuner is updated, the transmission tuning software is ready to be unlocked.

After the software is purchased, you will receive an e-mail from H&S Performance within 1 business day containing your H&S Overdrive Unlock Code. If you have not received your unlock code within 24 hours after purchase, please contact H&S customer service.

Unlock codes are not processed automatically. Codes will be sent out between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM MST Monday - Friday

    Just installled the transmission tuning for my 2007 6.7L Dodge Cummins and all I have to say is wow!!! I should've done this a long time ago. It really "woke" the transmission up!! Great job H&S!! I have a mini maxx with dpf delete and egr delete. Now resaving up for a better fuel delivery system. Getting the Air Dog that my friends at All Out Diesel Performance recommended. Will be also getting the boost tube from H&S soon with the air horn.

    2008 1 ton Dodge with nothing more than a black maxx and magnaflow 5 inch. Started with the Mild 175, then went more aggressive with the Hot 175. The hot really seemed to do in to the transmission, almost like the truck was confused and didn't know whether to shift or not. Got home and ordered the H&S Overdrive, and within a matter of 5 minutes I had my code. With the new tune unlocked, went on another test drive. With the tune on the moter and transmission, this is what I would expect to pick up from a dealership... in ride quality. All the power I could get out of a tuner, and a smooth shift through any gear at any speed. I am truly amazed.

    I bought this when it first came out. It was much better than stock. No lugging. Now they have updated it and it is even better. This is a must have. Customer service as always is top notch.

    I have a 2008 1ton dually Megacab Resistol Edition, (ALL emmisions crap was removed after dealership tore the engine down twice in 20 months due to plugged with soot) Had the BM with pyro installed for the last 8 months engine ran great, tranny was terriable, always had to shift manually to stop trans shifting into higher gears to soon, engine bogging, turbo "huffing" when gaining speed up hills and truck shifted from 4th to 5th to 6th gear. Just installed the tranny software and it's like a brand new truck on "steroids". It's the best $299 I've ever spent. Truck runs and shifts better than when first purchased, crisp firm shifts, trans has always been a "sloppy shifting" and "soft" when putting the power to it, but NO more. Can't wait to see how it tows next year when I pull my 8000 lb camper. If your reading this AND STILL "thinking" about weather or not to purchase it, do your self a favour and click on it, you won't regret it.

    Have a 2010 Ram and had the Mini Max on with complete DFP & EGR installed. Was a nice upgrade. But notices engine was not always in correct gear. This upgrade correct that along with making it be quicker and firmer shifts. Ws well worth the money and is a must to actually get the power to the ground.

    Just installed the H&S TCM tuning. No more 5th and 6th gear lugging around town! Shifts are firm, but not too harsh. Overall an A+ on my scale, AND they were half the price of the competition!
