I've been running the mild tune and have not thrown the 0087 code again. I do get a surge at 80-90 MPH on the Hot setting of the mild tunning but no codes or smoke. The rail pressure does jump around from about 12.8K to 14.5K.

I thought I read somewhere on this board that getting rid of the tire pressure monitoring system was being looked into. Is this still a possibility? Just wondering. Any insight would be appreciated.

Yeah, NO DOUBT!!! I've been harassing them for a month now. Damn, I guess spending $1,200 on their performance gear wasn't enough for me to receive a few one dollar stickers.

Sounds like just a coincidence to me. The ECU tuning should have not affect on any of the accessories on the motor. I am very surprised that the pump just fell out. Hope you got it up and running again.

Its cool, actually today I came to the same conclusion trough some other forums where actual ford techs said the same thing and stated that the p167f actually only trips if a tune upload is interupted. I ordered myself a minimaxx today from thoroughbred, should be here tomorrow ;)
thanks

When the unit drops to "no power" that is how it "defuels". It drops power levels until the parameter it is looking at is under control. If your boost is set to 35PSI, then when you hit 35PSI on "hot" it will drop to "wild". If still at 35PSI it will drop to "mild", and then to stock. Once under 35PSI it will gradually turn itself back up to hot, as long as all the other defuel parameters are under the set point.

AS for the unit turning itself off, it sounds like a short in a connector, or a loose connection on the back of the mini at the HDMI cable. Generally if the unit is bad it will not power up at all, or will not boot up fully at startup. Let us know if it keeps rebooting while driving. No, nothing to worry about. Only happens when you are building a lot of boost and suddenly let off the throttle.
