Just ordered a mini maxx and should have it in a few days. I am wondering what transmission tune I should run? It will be a stock truck other than dpf/doc delete and AFE stage 2 intake. I don't want it to shift hard and I don't plan on driving it real hard. Mainly want better mileage and the extra power will be nice.

Also what HP setting is recommended for the transmission relearn and how many runs do you need to make? What is the recommended lockup speed for the torque converter?

You do not have to do the relearn thing every time you change the tune do you?

Use the Firm Shifting, the race shifts hard. They say to do the relearn in the highest level but i have major problems when doing that. I do mine in the mild setting and if i switch to Wild or Hot i drive it through the gears normally 4 or 5 times before i get on it too hard so the trans can learn the new power.

I just loaded the overdrive with a mini maxx and I didn't get the choice of race or firm. Anyone got any ideas as to why?

It says:
"All Mini Maxx 6.4s are factory loaded with MILD Engine Tuning and FIRM TRANS 55 MPH Lock-up"

If you want race shifting you have to dowload it, as well as any other custom engine/trans tunes you want from the dowloads section.
